The 20-year-old will be competing in the Loughborough International on Sunday.
Bethan, a former Oldbury Wells School pupil who is now studying at the University of Birmingham, will represent England in the event at Loughborough University that also includes Wales, Scotland, GB Juniors and a University Select side.
“I was quite excited when I got the call,” said Bethan, who used to compete for Telford Athletics Club, but is currently a member of Birchfield Harriers.
“I’ve just had the best indoor season I’ve ever had so I knew I was going to be taken into consideration.
“But it’s my first time in the senior squad so I am really looking forward to it.”
