THE sounds of the Daleks will be adding a chilling note to this year’s Bridgnorth Music and Arts Festival.
Dalek Caan, from the original BBC Dr Who series, is to attend a WH Smiths book signing in Bridgnorth for author Nigel Goodall’s latest biography of David Tennant – one of the most recent Dr Whos.
Now festival organisers are looking for a Dr Who fan who might be able to help with sponsoring this particular event.
Festival spokesperson Simon Golding said: “Cobra Events who own the Dalek offered Caan’s services for free with the festival only having to find travel expenses to and from Brighton for £160 and a night’s accommodation for Caan and his driver.
“Dalek Caan is reported to be very excited about visiting our town and promises not to exterminate any Bridgnorth residents.”
