VISITORS to Bridgnorth on Sunday will enjoy the spectacle of around 75 classic and vintage tractors lining the High Street. The 12th annual Shropshire Tractor Run is being organised by Bridgnorth Vintage Machinery Club.
Secretary David Spruce said that the tractors would line up at Severn Park and would set out at about 10.30am. They will be driven through Low Town, Eardington, Chelmarsh, Highley, Billingsley and Glazeley before arriving in High Street at about 12.30-1pm. The tractors will then head towards Broseley, Linley and Tasley before finishing at Severn Park.
“Throughout the day and while stationary in the High Street we will be collecting for the Midland Air Ambulance,” said Mr Spruce.
It is not too late to join the rally with a tractor and entry forms are available by visiting www.bvmc.org.uk or by phoning 07986 170 715. A DVD of the day is being produced by Bromyard Vision and orders for these can be placed on the day or through the BVMC website.
