YOUNGSTERS in the Bridgnorth area can look forward to a fun-packed half-term holiday next week. The Reccy Rangers and Xtreme schemes, run by Shropshire Council Leisure Services South, will be hosting a variety of activities throughout the district and all are free.
Reccy Rangers, for four to 12-year-olds, are designed to encourage free play by enabling children to chose what activities they would like to take part in from arts activities, nature activities and favourite games such as dodge ball, treasure hunt and fishy fishy.
Reccy Ranger sessions will be taking part at the following locations:-
Monday:- 10-11.55am, Eardington Village Green and 2-3.55pm, Worfield Primary School fields.
Tuesday:- 10-11.55am, Beckbury Primary School fields and 2-3.55pm, Quatt Village Hall.
Wednesday:- 10-11.55am, Cleobury North Village Hall and 2-3.55pm, Stottesdon Primary School fields.
Thursday:- 10-11.55am, Kemberton Village Hall and 2-3.55pm, Brockton Primary School fields.
Friday:- 10-11.55am, Brown Clee School fields and 2-3.55pm, Chetton Village Hall.
Xtreme Sessions for 12 to 17 year olds are designed to offer young people a variety of activities during the holidays. These will be held on (all 1-3pm):-
Monday:- street dance at Albrighton Red House; Tuesday:- street dance at Bridgnorth Youth Centre; Wednesday:- dodgeball at Broseley Birchmeadow Centre;
Thursday:- dodgeball at Highley Severn Centre;
Friday:- dodgeball at Bridgnorth Youth Centre.
