A model management company that snapped a Hollywood legend down at the Severn Valley Railway, Bridgnorth, is looking for the family whose dog appears in the picture.
Sapphires, a modelling and photography agency based in Wolverhampton and London, spent a day with Oscar winner Mickey Rooney, 88, and his wife Jan earlier this year to take a selection of celebrity portraits on the SVR platform.
But Neely Reyes, who works for Sapphires, said they never managed to take down the family’s details, although they knew the dog’s name was Jack.
“We are trying to track down a family that randomly assisted us,” she said. “We took a few frames of the Rooneys on the day and in one of the frames we used a passerby’s dog.
“Like me the Rooneys are huge animal lovers and when we saw this cute dog walk by and asked if we could borrow him for the shoot, the lovely family obliged.
“We are now trying to track down the family to offer them a print.”
The photo shoot took place on Friday, April 17; the dog’s name was Jack and it is believed the family was local. If anyone can help out they are asked to call Sapphires on 0844 8845404.
